Resolutions for 2017
I've never really been one to make a list of things I want to accomplish in the new year. Of course I have goals but I always liked to keep them filed around in my brain but I thought that maybe typing it out could help me and it would be nice to have this to look back at.
Take more pictures.
When I was looking through my computer at the end of the year, I realized I only really took pictures when Cody and I went to visit my family in Virginia this past summer..and that sucks. The bulk of photos that I took were for this blog and I wish I had pulled my phone/camera out more during my everyday life so I'd have something to look back on and be reminded of those times.
Cook for myself more.
I've never been a breakfast person and a lot of times it'll be 3:00 and I haven't eaten anything, which is so unhealthy! I want to get better at making meals for myself and having more of a schedule when it comes to eating.
Writing posts consistently.
This is something I've been pretty good about for a little while now but I kind of fell off of it when the holidays rolled around. I've been inspired so much lately by music and art and beauty and I need to plan these posts and get on with it!
Record music more.
Before I moved to Texas my main thing was recording songs. It was what I wanted to do with my life. Since moving here and getting adjusted I've only recorded one song on my Soundcloud in over 2 years and I used to upload something atleast once or month and sometimes even once a week. I want to get back into that because I've forgotten how enjoyable and beneficial it was for me and I miss singing..a lot. It's just been hard getting back into that swing of things- I feel like I've forgotten everything I once knew.
Try more things.
I'm a creature of habit and tend to stick to what I know and like with everything. I want to try new foods and visit more places and see more things and talk to more people. I think it'd be good for me- I am a hermit these days.
So those are all the things I want to accomplish this year. I hope you all enjoyed this post and feel free to let me know what your resolutions are for this new year!
